Site Name: Blog Cabins: Insanely Important Film Reviews

What is the main focus of your site (reviews, editorials, news, lists, etc.)?
Reviews and editorials – I leave the news to the beat writers who get paid to do that. I’m mostly a reactionary. I see a lot of films in the theaters, and review all for the site; in addition, I have a weekly preview of the coming films and mix in lists and other stuff of that ilk sporadically.

What are your blogging goals, personally and/or professionally? In other words, what, if anything, are you trying to get out your blog?
A writing gig would be great, but I can’t say that I’m actively pursuing it – mostly, I do this for fun, for readers, and for the $1.75 that Google owes me.

Do you prefer an interactive ‘community’ for your blog or are you the teacher and your readers are the students?
The more readers and commenters, the better. If I had a large enough readership, I might go the forum route, but as is, I’m content with comments. Differing opinions always welcome.

How long have you been movie blogging for, and how frequent do you post updates to your site?
I started Blog Cabins in December 2006, and put up roughly 18-25 posts per month.

Name up to three of your favorite movies (and no more).
Fletch (obviously), Pulp Fiction, and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.

Any additional comments.
