Site Name: 5th Row From the Screen

What is the main focus of your site (reviews, editorials, news, lists, etc.)?
It’s mainly film reveiws from a non-critic, movie fan perspective of things — nothing too technical… at times. It features reviews for new releases in theaters or old ones on DVD, in any genre and language. It may also review some television shows. I’m also thinking of putting some actor profiles and such… later.

What are your blogging goals, personally and/or professionally? In other words, what, if anything, are you trying to get out your blog?
Just my thoughts on the movies that I get to watch, how I felt about the films, and maybe get some of the readers to take interest in some of the little known films that I’ve seen and reviewed. Also, to let people know that we — and not just the movie critics — can have our own opinions about movies.

Do you prefer an interactive ‘community’ for your blog or are you the teacher and your readers are the students?
Interaction is good. We all have different opinions and perspectives on different things, so a variety of comments is welcome. My reviews are my experiences and thoughts about the movies I’ve seen. Some people may share the same sentiments. Others may not. That’s okay. I like to exchange ideas about movies.

How long have you been movie blogging for, and how frequent do you post updates to your site?
Since 2004. I started with an old blogger account, which I no longer use, and then started writing reviews on my Yahoo! movies profile. Then I got into Multiply and posted even more film reviews there. Then this year (2007) I came back to Blogger and created 5th Row From the Screen. This blog gets updates at least once a week.

Name up to three of your favorite movies (and no more).
The Passion of the Christ. The Lord of the Rings (trilogy as one). The Sound of Music.

Any additional comments.
I’m glad I came across LAMB. I’m a film buff so this blog site is cool for me to be a part of. I hope we — movie bloggers — take over the world with LAMB! Haha!
