What is the main focus of your site (reviews, editorials, news, lists, etc.)?
I *attempt* to focus on both official reviews and editorials that highlight certain discoveries I’ve made in watching films (though lately I’ve been on a screengrab kick…).

What are your blogging goals, personally and/or professionally? In other words, what, if anything, are you trying to get out your blog?
Oh, I sure have plenty of them. I want to evolve the way I write about films as well as the way that I view them. I hope to present at least one insight to a film that makes someone think, or say, “Huh, I never thought about that before….” If I can get my act together, I would like to have enough reviews under my belt, build enough traffic, and have an efficient enough system of writing so that I could become a member of the Dallas-Fort Worth Film Critics Association (but first I need to get noticed). Another goal (after being way too inspired by Steve Pavlina) is to eventually earn a good amount of income from blogging (traffic, ads, etc). Some may think this is “uncool,” but I think it would be *really* cool. At the same time, I’m working on making my own films, and I hope to spotlight them on my website as well (assuming they’re half-decent).

Do you prefer an interactive ‘community’ for your blog or are you the teacher and your readers are the students?
I love it when I receive comments, and I’m not sure if that’s a plus for the community side or for the teacher-student side. I really would like to get enough people reading my posts so that I can interact with them. There are a lot smarter people out there than me.

How long have you been movie blogging for, and how frequent do you post updates to your site?
Let’s see, my first post dates back to February of 2005. So a couple of years. I don’t nearly post often enough, because I tend to be very wordy, so my posts take much longer to get out. I recently went through a slump, but I’m hoping to get back to a weekly posting habit (at the very least). Ideally, I would want to blog non-stop.

Name up to three of your favorite movies (and no more).
Boogie Nights, Annie Hall, City Lights.

How did you hear about the LAMB?
Lazy Eye Theatre (home of the venerable Piper)

Any additional comments, or give yourself an interview question that’s not listed above.
I may not post very often, but when I do, it’s worth it. I hate reading reviews that simply summarize the plot of the film, so my reviews feature a tiny bit on the plot, and the rest is filled with observations. I try to make it worth your time, so a lot of my reviews run between 900-1,500 words, if not more. Am I coming off as desperate in these questions?
