Site Name: Cinematic Passions

What is the main focus of your site (reviews, editorials, news, lists, etc.)?
Cinematic Passions is intended to be a one stop shop filled to the brim with different sorts of reviews (movies, television, music), various kinds of essays and media related news -with a particular emphasis on classic Hollywood glamour. The primary focus will always be critiquing the current films in theatrical release.

What are your blogging goals, personally and/or professionally? In other words, what, if anything, are you trying to get out your blog?
I’m tremendously serious about my writing. I’m at a stage where I feel strongly compelled to do it. It thrills me greatly to realize that people (even in rather modest numbers) are taking the time to look at the site and to acknowledge its content. I get an enormous amount of satisfaction from that. If any particular career opportunity connected to the blog should happen to present itself, I would be delighted to explore any and all proposals that could arise.

Do you prefer an interactive ‘community’ for your blog or are you the teacher and your readers are the students?
Whenever a diverse group of people convenes anywhere, it’s inevitable that we all learn from each other. In discussions with various commenters on other blogs (or even on my own), I certainly pick up a lot from other posters. I don’t have time for hierarchies. They aren’t much fun.

How long have you been movie blogging for, and how frequent do you post updates to your site?
I’ve currently only been doing it for less than a month now. I love it. Unless I get ridiculously busy at some point, I fully intend to post something (hopefully interesting) daily.

Name up to three of your favorite movies (and no more).
Gone With The Wind, Lawrence Of Arabia and Mona Lisa.

How did you hear about the LAMB?
I saw it on Matthew Lucas’ blog From The Front Row.

Any additional comments, or give yourself an interview question that’s not listed above.
None.
