Update: Sirens of the LAMBs.

I’m sure everybody has noticed that it’s been about a week since it was stated that the Sirens of the LAMBs event would start. However, due to excessive work schedules (one of which resulted in a forced drop-out), sickness, and overall bad luck, the beginning of the new event has been pushed back slightly.

I have gotten one article for each pairing, with one exception, so whoever sends in their article next will be the first pairing to get put up (unless it happens to be that one pairing that I haven’t gotten one for yet). Hopefully it should start sometime within the next few days (today, tomorrow, Monday…).

And just to update on how this will work, I’ll use this post. Each fight/pairing will be posted together. The fights are narrative-type stories and/or fight scenes of the two characters matched. At the end, one character wins (the character of whoever wrote the narrative). What is needed from everybody else is a vote on who had the best argument for winning. Do you think Character 1 or 2 had a better scenario to prove that they could logistically win in the situation? Trying to stay away from a favorite character bias, you should then vote in a poll that will be set up at the bottom of the post for the character you think would win based on the two narratives. Voting will go on until the end of the round (so whoever gets their articles in faster theoretically gets more votes). At the end of the round, the winners will be posted (the bracket updated), and round 2 will begin.

I think that’s about it for now. Thanks for your patience and enjoy!
