Site Name: Eye Candy

What is the main focus of your site (reviews, editorials, news, lists, etc.)?
Reviews, mostly. I could never find anything in blogger devoted to kung fu movies, or even featuring them, and that’s what started me off. I’ve kind of drifted from that initial purposefulness to include slashers and blaxploitation and other genre films since then, though. I’m mostly interested in reviewing films that aren’t necessarily all that easy to get hold of – ideally, ones that aren’t available on DVD. That way, fewer people have seen them and my stupid opinion seems more authoritative. Score!

I also have little bits and pieces like an irregular ‘Unsung Heroes of Comedy’ trading card series, and a ‘Kung Fu Movie Supporting Actor Identification Guide’ I keep meaning to get back to. But the reviews are the meat and potatoes of the blog, while those things are more like… peas or something.

What are your blogging goals, personally and/or professionally? In other words, what, if anything, are you trying to get out your blog?
I just want people to have somewhere to go when they really, really want to read a thorough review of films like ‘Bruce Lee Against Supermen’ or ‘Mr. Mean’ complete with video clips. Why? Because I love humanity.

Do you prefer an interactive ‘community’ for your blog or are you the teacher and your readers are the students?
I’d prefer an interactive community in which everyone just tells me how extraordinary I am. But I’ll take what I can get.

How long have you been movie blogging for, and how frequent do you post updates to your site?
I started the blog last November, although I let it lie idle and unattended for a few months when I was stricken with acute case of massive indifference. I tend to add something a couple of times a week now, though.

Name up to three of your favorite movies (and no more).
1. The Chinese Boxer
2. Cinderfella
3. Crumb

How did you hear about the LAMB?
From my favourite blog: Anchorwoman in Peril.

Any additional comments, or give yourself an interview question that’s not listed above.
How many of the films referred to in the ‘Sirens of the Lambs’ feature
have you actually seen?

Virtually none.

(Editor’s note: Wiseass. Then again, I haven’t seen that many, either.)
