Site Name: The Critical Critics

What is the main focus of your site (reviews, editorials, news, lists, etc.)?
I stick with movie reviews. Another contributor puts some effort into an occasional top 10 list. I suspect we’ll get into some editorial type rants in the near future…

What are your blogging goals, personally and/or professionally? In other words, what, if anything, are you trying to get out your blog?
I have no personal or professional goals stemming from The Critical Critics. I enjoy watching movies and writing about them, nothing more. If, by chance, I become highly successful from it, fantastic (Lord knows I want to quit my day job)!

Do you prefer an interactive ‘community’ for your blog or are you the teacher and your readers are the students?
Community. I like it when people comment and point out something I may have missed or try to show me the error in my ways.

How long have you been movie blogging for, and how frequent do you post updates to your site?
I’ve been posting reviews for several years, mostly just to irritate some of my friends. Last year, I figured the profane reviews deserved their own space so last year The Critical Critics officially opened its virtual doors. I watch and review several movies a week. As more contributors come on board, posting will occur more frequently.

Name up to three of your favorite movies (and no more).
Only three? In no particular order:
1. Can’t Buy Me Love
2. Goodfellas
3. Pulp Fiction

How did you hear about the LAMB?
Via a digitally transmitted message from some crazy guy named Fletch.

Any additional comments, or give yourself an interview question that’s not listed above.
Real or Fake?
I like ’em both ways. My only concern is that they are proportional to the frame — I hate it when they look like balloons.
