Site Name: $7 Popcorn

What is the main focus of your site (reviews, editorials, news, lists, etc.)?
Mostly to talk about movies I love and movies I hate… and Star Wars (which could be both depending on when you ask me). It could be anything from a list to focusing on a prop used in a low budget movie. Sometimes I rant, sometimes I rave, occasionally I even review. On Mondays I show off Monster Movie Posters.

What are your blogging goals, personally and/or professionally? In other words, what, if anything, are you trying to get out your blog?
I started 7dp just as something to do. Something to fill up some of my downtime. There may have been a small part of me that hoped to make a friend or two through it who enjoyed the same kind of movies as me.

Do you prefer an interactive ‘community’ for your blog or are you the teacher and your readers are the students?
I’m all for ‘community’ (whatever that means). If I didn’t want to hear other people’s opinions and discuss the movies, I’d close 7dp off to comments…but, how boring would that be? It’s always more interesting when you get to hear someone else’s take on something. You and I can watch the same film, but see two different movies. It’s neat how that works sometimes.

How long have you been movie blogging for, and how frequent do you post updates to your site?
I started 7dp in early Jan of 06, so about 2 ½ years now. I’m not going to lie and say that I update everyday, but I THINK about updating every day. I usually try to post at least once or twice a week, but traveling for work can make it difficult to find time. I always feel bad about it when I’m not posting.

Name up to three of your favorite movies (and no more).
Tears of the Black Tiger
Alien
Octopus 2: River of Fear

How did you hear about the LAMB?
I blame Piper of Lazy Eye Theatre and Stacie at Final Girl. Both have mentioned it and it piqued my interest.

Any additional comments, or give yourself an interview question that’s not listed above.
It’s a little off topic, but what’s your favorite Buddy Holly song that isn’t ‘Peggy Sue’?

That’s a tough question. Hmm…I’d have to go with ‘You’re So Square’. Yeah, totally.
