Site Name: Where the Long Tail Ends

What is the main focus of your site (reviews, editorials, news, lists, etc.)?
My site is pretty much entirely devoted to writing reviews of older, obscure and/or awful films at this point in time. I do weekly recommendations for theatrical and DVD releases and I also have the occasional giveaway. Plans are in the works to add a few more features, but the core theme of the site will always be watching and reviewing movies that most people haven’t.

What are your blogging goals, personally and/or professionally? In other words, what, if anything, are you trying to get out your blog?
I’ve always had an interest in searching out “below the radar” films for just my general recreation and the site is the perfect place for me to have a completely valid excuse for watching them. I also have a generalized opinion that the majority of movie sites out there either cover new releases or stick to certain genres, and since I already blog for two other sites I really wanted a bit more freedom to bounce around and watch whatever catches my fancy and write the reviews in a bit more unconventional style then typically found.

Do you prefer an interactive ‘community’ for your blog or are you the teacher and your readers are the students?
Neither really. I think of myself as more of a taste tester, subjecting myself to a barrage of confections in the hopes of finding something quite wonderful to share, or possibly doubling over in utter pain from some horrifically awful pile of crap. Though, so far, I have found most of the truly terrible movies entertaining enough in their own ways.

How long have you been movie blogging for, and how frequent do you post updates to your site?
I’ve been blogging for ~8 years but have only been focusing my efforts on movies for a year now. I stick to a fairly rigid 3 updates a week schedule at the moment. My newest review is every Monday, a teaser for the following week’s review is on Wednesday, then on Fridays I give my recommendations for theatrical and DVD new releases for that upcoming week/end. Hopefully as I add additional features I’ll work my way up to a regime of daily updates.

Name up to three of your favorite movies (and no more).
High and Low, The Proposition, The Muppet Movie.

How did you hear about the LAMB?
Saw both 353 Haiku Reviews and Row Three join your herd and I am nothing if not a follower.

Any additional comments, or give yourself an interview question that’s not listed above.
