[Editor’s Note: This site has not posted new content in over a year (as of 5/18/11) and is now considered a dead LAMB. A moment of silence please…]

Site Name: Movies et al

What is the main focus of your site (reviews, editorials, news, lists, etc.)?
I started off doing reviews, but now it’s mostly just lists – for people who don’t get their fix from the AFI. Best films of the year, best Westerns of the last 10 years, Movies that Might Have a Better Cast than Batman Begins, etc. Also, the occasional editorial where I just talk about something I’m thinking about – lately, I haven’t been able to get away from the topic of gender in Hollywood. The role of women in Hollywood is restricted in so many ways, so I’ve been trying to discuss some of the issues that raises.

What are your blogging goals, personally and/or professionally? In other words, what, if anything, are you trying to get out your blog?
Really, all I want is for some people to read and comment on my blog so I can have more conversations about the movies I love.

Do you prefer an interactive ‘community’ for your blog or are you the teacher and your readers are the students?
Oh, I’d prefer a community. That’s all I’m looking for.

How long have you been movie blogging for, and how frequent do you post updates to your site?
Since January of this year. Lately I’ve been posting like mad, but usually I’ll post between once and twice a week.

Name up to three of your favorite movies (and no more).
Only three – that’s brutal. Let’s say The Searchers, Meet John Doe, and Gladiator. Everyone disses Gladiator. Man is it satisfying.

How did you hear about the LAMB?
Through the Film Babble Blog, run by my semi-coworker in Chapel Hill!

Any additional comments, or give yourself an interview question that’s not listed above.
None.

I guess I should have added an additional comment: I love Russell Crowe and Christian Bale. That might clear a few things up.
