LAMB #151 – Reel Fanatic

URL: http://reelfanatic.blogspot.com/
Site Name: Reel Fanatic
Categories: I’d say I file about 50 percent news/50 percent reviews
Rating: I’d say PG-13 … I don’t swear too much, but I do post some YouTube clips that can be a bit racy

What is the main focus of your site (reviews, editorials, news, lists, etc.)?
See above.

What are your blogging goals, personally and/or professionally? In other words, what, if anything, are you trying to get out your blog?
I naively started out thinking I might some day make a living writing about movies, but even though that was a pipe dream, I still just liking doing it for fun. And I really enjoy it on the rare occasion when someone sees a movie I recommended that they otherwise have overlooked.

Do you prefer an interactive ‘community’ for your blog or are you the teacher and your readers are the students?
I’ve certainly never tried to be a teacher of anything. I do like to seek out things that interest me and share them with people, but I get at least as much enjoyment from getting people’s reactions to the things I write.

How long have you been movie blogging for, and how frequent do you post updates to your site?
Embarrassingly enough, I had to check my profile to make sure I got this one right, and it says I’ve been doing this since October of 2005.

Name up to three of your favorite movies (and no more).
Here are three movies I can’t live without: Ratatouille, City of God and To Kill a Mockingbird.

How did you hear about the LAMB?
Jess from the blog Insight into Entertainment left a comment on my site, and I saw the LAMB icon on that site.

Any additional comments, or give yourself an interview question that’s not listed above.
None.
