Site Name: Film Under Fire – Critical Film Reviews and Video Podcast
Categories: Reviews, Thrillers, Editorials
What is the main focus of your site?
The main focus of FilmUnderFire.com is to deliver intelligent, informative, and thought provoking reviews of films in the thriller genre.
What are your blogging goals, personally and/or professionally? In other words, what, if anything, are you trying to get out your blog?
My blogging goals are to provide informative and entertaining content to my readers. To get feedback and a dialogue with my target audience and progress from there to create more content in other categories of interest. I want to get the good feeling which blogging gives of having many fans and maybe in the future look to monetize some of my content as well.
Do you prefer an interactive ‘community’ for your blog or are you the teacher and your readers are the students?
I prefer a blogging community. Any good teacher knows that you should learn as much as you teach. I want to guide my viewers and try to get them to expand their horizons, but even more I want to get their feedback on what I have to say. Both positive and negative feedback so that all of the members of the community can get a more informed position through consensus.
How long have you been movie blogging for, and how frequent do you post updates to your site?
I have just recently started movie blogging in the past month and post updates to the site every week. I have been doing blogging in general for the past 6 months and previously worked on the WoW Podcast with Broken Eggs Media. Due to some ethical problems I had with management I left the company and started to blog on my own.
Name up to three of your favorite movies (and no more).
Funny Games, Profondo Rosso (Deep Red), The Bird with the Crystal Plumage.
