  1. Nick says:

Little Shop of Horrors and Beauty and the Beast totally should have scored in there somewhere… that’s BS!

Also… I’ve seen Dead and Breakfast and I really don’t remember that being a musical…

  2. Little shop of beauty,very good picture,have beautiful clips,romantic..

  3. Marilyn says:

This is why I hate lists. There are so many on these lists that would have been on mine if I could have chosen more than 10. Good job, everyone.

Lovin’ the love for Swing Time, even if it didn’t crack the top 10.

  4. Fletch says:

Marilyn, I hope you were pleased with the results, considering you predicted Sweeney Todd for the top spot (I think it finished 40-something-th).

    Classics rules the musical genre.

  5. Marilyn says:

Absolutely. However, as always, I have an explanation for that (I always have an explanation, even if it’s b.s.). Not many musical lovers out there. Those of us who love them, absolutely adore them–and we tend to like them traditional. Those who don’t, in the vast majority, never even bother with them.

  6. Nick says:

I love musicals. I was raised on them. As Fletch could probably attest to, when I submitted my answers… my ‘comment’ section included like another 10-15 movies that almost made my list, including an ‘etc’ because I couldn’t even start to think of them all.

However, I love more quirky musicals than classics (though the classics are alright).
