What is the main focus of your site?
Our main focus is creating an interactive place to talk about movies. No, we don’t review every new film, we don’t post every new trailer, and we don’t discuss every piece of news that comes our way. We pick what interests us, and what we think would interest our readers, and try to discuss it in an entertaining matter. We are pretty laid back at MovieGuys.
What are your blogging goals, personally and/or professionally? In other words, what, if anything, are you trying to get out your blog?
Basically we just want our presence to be known, and provide an environment for people to discuss everything movies. This is a hobby for us, we enjoy what we do, and money is not our goal.
Do you prefer an interactive ‘community’ for your blog or are you the teacher and your readers are the students?
We prefer a highly interactive movie. There is no right, or wrong to opinions, and we love discussing our views with our readers. It would be be a very hard job if we didn’t have readers to discuss our topics with.
How long have you been movie blogging for, and how frequent do you post updates to your site?
We are coming up on our 2 year anniversary, and through all of the ups and downs, we normally are able to post a new article once per day, sometimes more.
