What is the main focus of your site?
To compile an archive of noteworthy and worthwhile films from the 21st century, while hopefully providing positive contributions to moviegoers and movie readers.

What are your blogging goals, personally and/or professionally? In other words, what, if anything, are you trying to get out your blog?
It's my desire to bring a love of cinema to my readers through critical appreciations of films. In a blog-o-sphere where so many sites aim to tear films apart through sarcasm and cynicism, I try to focus purely on the reasons why film is simply the greatest art form. Who doesn't love the movies?

Do you prefer an interactive community for your blog or are you the teacher and your readers are the students?
Though my writing tends to be more analytical and in essay format, I certainly do not regard myself superior to anyone who visits my site. I encourage readers to comment and participate in respectful discussions. In fact, that's half of the movie appreciating process, isn't it?

How long have you been movie blogging for, and how frequent do you post updates to your site?
This Guy Over Here was founded in August of 2009. I have been blogging in one form or another since 2006, and writing all of my life. I update my site quite frequently.
