Alright, here's your chance to let me hear it. I obviously missed something of consequence, as nearly 10% of the Johnny Depp poll voters selected "other" as their favorite film of his. So which was it? Alice in Wonderland?
Meanwhile, Ed Wood was the clear winner there, garnering about 1/4 of the 136 (!) total votes, with Fear and Loathing placing a respectable 2nd with 15%. Shame on all of you that picked any of the Pirates flicks.
On the Scorcese track, GoodFellas was the no-surprise-winner, again with about 1/4 of the 124 votes. What was shocking was that Taxi Driver had to make a late surge just to finish 3rd with 12%. The Departed ended up giving Ray Liotta and Co. a run for their money, finishing second with 19%. Good job by me in Otherland here, apparently, as there were but four votes.
The new poll will seem dumb on the surface. It simply asks whether or not you're a horror blogger. I ask because I'd like to get a gauge as to how many of you/them actually visit the LAMB relative to the percentage of overall horror bloggers in the LAMB. Past history tells me it's a pretty low number (which we're trying to remedy!).

Blow is the best Depp film by FAR.
ReplyDeleteJapan - I'm gonna go straight to "agree to disagree" on that one; I was pretty damned disappointed with Blow. Wouldn't place in my top 10 of his...
ReplyDeleteOther = THE NINTH GATE? The film has a cult following!
ReplyDeleteI chose Pirates ONLY for the first film. The other two were terrible.
