Poll results; new poll

Apparently, I read more blogs (regularly) than the average bear; even though I expected to be in the higher ranks, I was still surprised that nearly half of the voters selected 1-10 blogs.

That said, it's the two voters in the "More than 100" range that we need to study for scientific use. I'm stretched thin - how do you manage? Kudos as well to the two voters that only read their own work. That's true grit and determination right there.

New poll is going to force you to play favorites - decades, that is. There can be only one - which one will you keep? And no fancy stuff, like "65-74."

  1. I feel sad for the 10s, 20s and 30s... [at my time of voting] please, let someone vote for them! At least all decades should get one vote, I think ^^

  2. I think I voted 100+ although I can't quite remember. I read food and book blogs too, plus does Tumblr count? I might be in the 200+ region.

    I voted for 30s. Ha!

  3. Even though I follow 150 blogs, only about 20-30 post daily, maybe an additional 40 do weekly, with the rest bi-weekly, monthly, and once in a blue moon. So it's a bit tough for me to say how much I read, but if I follow them then every post (minus the occasional one that slips by) gets at least a good skim reading.

As for the new question, I went 50's mostly because that was the Kurosawa heyday, but that shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone.

  4. I have around 200 blogs I subscribe to in my reader, but always get behind in reading.

I finally got somewhat caught up this week, we'll see how long I can manage to stay on top of everything.

This is a tough poll! I'm immediately torn b/w 80s & 90s. What it really comes down to; Ghostbusters vs Big Lebowski.

  5. Don't feel bad, Amy - the 20s and 30s got some votes. :) The 10s...not yet.

Wow - Raquelle says 100, Univarn says 150, RW says 200...who's next with 250? ;) I'm only in the 60 range - I feel like such an amateur.

RW - I cheated - I voted once at work and once at home. That way I got a vote in for each of my decade choices.

Shocked at the 2nd place turnout for the 2000s so far.
