LAMBcast #40: Summer 2010 Wrap-up

Kai, James, Nick, Dylan and long-ago LAMBcaster Paul put a bow on the films of the summer of 2010.  Highs, lows, and everything in between.  Also on tap:

* Listener Feedback
* LAMB of the Week: Japan Cinema
* Trailer Talk: The Fighter
* Last LAMB Standing (x2)

For the LAMB of the Week, we take a look at Japan Cinema:

If you'd like your site to be a future LAMB of the Week, hit me up via email and I'll add you to the queue.

If you're interested, you too can be a LAMBcaster - we love new blood! For more information on the LAMBcast, check out the topic at the LAMB Forums. Music provided royalty-free by Kevin MacLeod's Incompetech website. Big thanks to Kevin for providing this service. The LAMBcast loves feedback, too. Either here in the comments section or to blogcabins@yahoo.com or to our Facebook page. Also, we're on iTunes, and would still love a review, even if it's a bad one.

Thanks for listening!

  1. I'm sorry but the 2 hour battle between the Prince of Persia director and the Tanning booth for his white leads has to win best fight of the summer. On screen or not, I think exceptions must be made.

    No wonder I haven't gravitated toward doing any LAMBcasts, I've seen all of 3 movies this summer. It's sad, but 90% of the movies released this summer looked like DVD rentals at best to me.

    I've been a big fan of Japan Cinema for a while. He does a great job of balancing reviews of mainstream Asian cinema and some of the more obscure ones.

  2. Thanks a ton for the positive feedback, Watch Movies Online! Yea, those images are so tight. And I'd totally be down for watching movies online free--if it wasn't illegal. :P

    Anyway, I totally forgot during the show that I did have a surprise this summer: The A-Team. I thought it would be crap, but it ended up being entertaining, albeit still kinda crappy, but in a highly entertaining, not taking itself serious at all kind of way.
