Site Name: The Constant Viewer
Categories: Fictional Autobiographical Film Diary
Rating: R

What is the main focus of your site?
“The Constant Viewer” is an attempt to capture the “immediate experience” of film-going, no matter the place or time.

What are your blogging goals, personally and/or professionally? In other words, what, if anything, are you trying to get out your blog?
think a deeply felt impression of a film is better than an analysis. My goal is to merge the careful composition necessary for good analysis with the spontaneity of impression.

Do you prefer an interactive community for your blog or are you the teacher and your readers the students?
I see my readers primarily as readers–observers of the diary–but I welcome comments, and respond.

How long have you been movie blogging for, and how frequent do you post updates to your site?
Almost four years

Name up to three of your favorite movies (and no more).
Raging Bull, Napoleon Dynamite, Ikiru

How did you hear about the LAMB?
I think it was from a visit to “The Dancing Image“–possibly as a result of that blogger’s visit to my own site.

Any additional comments, or give yourself an interview question that’s not listed above.
While arranged chronologically, this is not a “history of film”–if anything, it’s an imaginary history of film-viewing.
