What is the main focus of your site?
Alternating humour with a more scholarly review of the latest cinema, both mainstream and independent, You Killed the Car offers something a little more varied. Occasional editorials on all manner of cinema also appear.

What are your blogging goals, personally and/or professionally? In other words, what, if anything, are you trying to get out your blog?
Through my blog, I’m trying to hone my critical voice to create something at once versatile and penetrative. Its still early days yet, but if I can get an audience that stays on board and enjoys my work, it shows that things are going well.

Do you prefer an interactive community for your blog or are you the teacher and your readers the students?
Some fun debate and discussion would be greatly welcomed, and is so far a little thin on the ground…again, by building a larger audience, I hope to be challenged on some of the assertions I make in my reviews. Film shouldn’t be about one opinion, no matter how persuasively it may be argued.

How long have you been movie blogging for, and how frequent do you post updates to your site?
The site has been active since October 14th. I normally update two or three times a week, leisure time permitting.

Name up to three of your favorite movies (and no more).
Ghostbusters. La Belle et la Bete. Jurassic Park.
