Site Name: Amodini’s Movie Reviews
Categories: Reviews, Lists, (Other) Previews
Rating: PG-13

What is the main focus of your site?
The main focus is on Reviews of Hindi and English films. I also review foreign (French/Swedish/Indian languages) films and some television programming occasionally and preview films I’m looking forward to.

What are your blogging goals, personally and/or professionally? In other words, what, if anything, are you trying to get out your blog?
I started the blog primarily as a Hindi Movie Review Blog because I didn’t find any reviews on the Web which reviewed Hindi Films by Year, Genre, Rating and Parental Ratings. Also I didn’t find comprehensive recommendation lists by Year or by Genre. I provide these on my blog now, and hope that it comes in handy for other movie lovers. I review every movie I see, but I also try and highlight the great, oft-missed ones, and warn people off the real stinkers.

Do you prefer an interactive community for your blog or are you the teacher and your readers the students?
I blog because I love films and I love writing about them. If readers find it useful and entertaining and let me know, I’m thrilled. No teaching involved.

How long have you been movie blogging for, and how frequent do you post updates to your site?
For more that 6 years now – I started it in 2005. I post 1-2 times per week (or more).

Name up to three of your favorite movies (and no more).
Fargo – because it was awesome
Maqbool – because this is a fantastic Hindi adaptation of Shakespeare’s Macbeth
Manorama six feet under – because this is the Great Big Bollywood Detective Film, and a detective film, and that too a well-made one, is rare for Bollywood.

How did you hear about the LAMB?
From the blog of “Beth Loves Bollywood“.

Any additional comments, or give yourself an interview question that’s not listed above.
None as of now.
