What is the main focus of your site?
Tthe hosts Alex and Danny pick a random horror film to riff on or pick a part with their incredibly strange sense of humor. Sometimes the greatest horror films, sometimes the worse. Danny and Alex try to find the inner seed of what makes a horror film work to them. The duo also upload older episodes and exclusive content to their youtube page youtube.com/horrordeconstruction.
What are your blogging goals, personally and/or professionally? In other words, what, if anything, are you trying to get out your blog?
Our blogging goals are to make a funny, insightful audio podcast. Neither of us are arrogant to think we are the be all, end all of opinion. We just like to shed light on some films you have or haven’t seen and make you laugh while we do.
Do you prefer an interactive community for your blog or are you the teacher and your readers the students?
We like an interactive experience with our work, grateful for any positive or negative feedback. It’s an open discussion on movies, we’re not stating any facts, just creating a dialogue with a strange sense of humor.
How long have you been movie blogging for, and how frequent do you post updates to your site?
It has been running for 28 episodes, so with my math, 25 years, no, actually…Feburary 23rd 2011. The both of us are too o.c.d. to not do an episode.
Name up to three of your favorite movies (and no more).
Between both hosts we can say (in line of horror for the sake of the podcast) The Gate, Sleepaway Camp, The Fly.
How did you hear about the LAMB?
A user on imdb.com reviewed our show and told us about your site, on how it’d be better for us to do so.
Any additional comments, or give yourself an interview question that’s not listed above.
I believe we covered it well enough, we’re here to have a good time, watch some horror fims, and laugh.
