What is the main focus of your site?
The Last Movieblog doesn’t have a main focus. I try to write as widely from different sorts of films as possible, and from all over the world. I write about the most mindblowing films I’ve seen recently, and snark on the stupidest crap I’ve wasted my time with. I tend to write posts around themes, and deal with three or more films at once.

What are your blogging goals, personally and/or professionally? In other words, what, if anything, are you trying to get out your blog?
The Last Movieblog is made proudly by a freak, to other freaks. I write because I feel the need to, not to gain any profit. My main goal is to write pleasant texts that other people besides me will enjoy, and to surprise my audience every once in a while as well.

Do you prefer an interactive community for your blog or are you the teacher and your readers the students?
It is of course, a privelege to help others find as meaningful experiences in movies as I have had. However, one of the main ways I would want to develop my blog would be to create a more interactive community around it to discuss the subjects I cover.

How long have you been movie blogging for, and how frequent do you post updates to your site?
The very first posts were done in October 2009. However, it took me almost a year to develop the blog’s style into what it is today. My blogging frequency varies, but I aim to do about six updates a month.

Name up to three of your favorite movies (and no more).
Tod Browning: Freaks (1932), Alejandro Jodorowsky: Santa Sangre (1989), Nicolas Winding Refn: Drive (2011)

How did you hear about the LAMB?
I was surfing through the most popular movie blogs at Bloglovin, when I happened upon Split Reel, that boasted about being a LAMB.

Any additional comments, or give yourself an interview question that’s not listed above.
What would you do without being able to blog?

I would probably perster my friends even more about movie tidbits because I wouldn’t have a proper outlet for them. Currently, I also occasionally write movie reviews on Episodi magazine so I’d seek a way to increase my work there. Probably I would try to find some way around the ban, anyway.

I used to have a general blog that tended to slide away to movie texts so it stood to reason to start another one devoted entirely to it. I also write in english to gain readership from all over the world. My native language is finnish.
