The first image to come up when Googling “champion”

It’s almost time for the next MOTM poll, and I need Champions with which to fill it!  Do you have what it takes to be a Movie of the Month Champion?

Here are the finer details:

* If your championed film wins, you get to not only appear on that month’s LAMBcast, but to ‘host’ the MOTM segment – explain why you chose the film, what you might like (or dislike) about it, guide the discussion, etc.  The next MOTM LAMBcast is scheduled to record on July 8th at 9:00am Pacific time, so you must be able to make that show.

* If you would like to volunteer, send an email to dylan at manilovefilms.com by Sunday, June 17th with your name, site name and film selection. Volunteers from last month are welcome.  Limited to the first 10 people to hit me up.

* To prevent highly influential LAMBs from dominating the feature every month, we’re putting a small rule in place: the Champion with the winning film won’t be eligible to participate in the Champions event for the following three months. We want you to participate but not dominate.

* That said, I am ineligible to become a Champion for the next three months by virtue of winning last month.  The Vern’s Videovangaurd has two more months of ineligibility remaining, and French Toast Sunday has one.  Fogs’ Movie Reviews becomes eligible again this month.
