What is the main focus of your site?

I write about classic movies and life which, in my case, are fully integrated. I turn the spotlight on the familiar faced character actors of the golden age and write about the movies that appeal to me from westerns and comedies to film noir, etc.

What are your blogging goals, personally and/or professionally? In other words, what, if anything, are you trying to get out your blog?

I’m rather like Mr. Fezziwig in the 1951 version of “A Christmas Carol”. When asked why he started his business, Fezziwig responded: “To preserve a way of life that I have known and loved.”

Do you prefer an interactive community for your blog or are you the teacher and your readers the students?

I have gained so much through the exchange of ideas.

How long has this site been active for, and how frequently do you post updates to your site?
The site has been active since 2008. Updating varies, but usually not less than 3 or 4 times a month, often more

Name up to three of your favorite movies (and no more).

Shane,Ruggles of Red Gap, The Thing from Another World

Name a movie you hate!!
Barb Wire

How did hear about the LAMB? If it was a LAMB, do you recall which one?
One hears things! Many of the bloggers I follow are members. It was while checking out Pretty Clever Films this morning that I thought – “Hey.” I often think “Hey.”

Welcome to the Lamb! Loved seeing a piece about Bogart on your blog. I’ve actually seen all but 3 of his post-Maltese Falcon movies, which is when he started becoming lead. I’ve seen a few pre-Maltese films as well. Dead End is one of them. It’s one of his more interesting roles even though the focus is really the kids. I’ve been toying with the idea of a Bogart retrospective on my blog, but that would be a lot of work. Plus, it won’t add anything to the fact that I’ve had a blast watching all those movies.

    Thanks for the welcome.

You can’t go wrong with Bogart. When my sister and I were little our dad would let us stay up late even on a school night if a Bogie movie was on TV.

  3. One of my favorite blogs!
