What is the main focus of your site?
It focuses mainly on reviews of films I’ve watched recently, though there’s also a nice spot for some regular features and birthday graphics, which I love to make!

What are your blogging goals, personally and/or professionally? In other words, what, if anything, are you trying to get out your blog?
I started blogging out of sheer pleasure, like many of you, always with the feeling that I wanted to share, not preach. So when I saw people getting involved, liking my blog, wanting my collaboration or mere opinion about a film, I got more excited, and I got a sense of responsibility and purpose. Now I really want Film Flare to grow, and I hope it keeps providing me with more opportunities, so that one day I can do this professionally.

Do you prefer an interactive community for your blog or are you the teacher and your readers the students?
That feeling you get when you receive the first comment is priceless. I see no point in talking to myself (though I do it quite often!), so I want the most interactive community possible. I’m a pretty accessible person, I try to be as responsive as I can, and so I hope my followers get as much pleasure from commenting on Film Flare as I get from doing it on other blogs.

How long has this site been active for, and how frequently do you post updates to your site?
Film Flare as been active for a year now, but until now I’ve been trying to find the right tone, the right layout, the right rhythm. I haven’t posted as much as I’d like to – in one year I wrote 100 articles, hence only applying now for the LAMB – but now that I found my way, I’m seriously committing to it.

Right now I’m pretty much in love with Notorious (1946), Fish Tank (2009) and My Own Private Idaho (1991).
