What is the main focus of your site?
Two ex-spouses that love film, review and discuss, sometimes humoursly, sometimes not, the merits and deficiencies of all sorts of movies that span the history of filmmaking to present day.

What are your blogging goals, personally and/or professionally? In other words, what, if anything, are you trying to get out your blog?
Frankly a book deal. You asked. That’s our goal. We think we are fairly unique and make people laugh. Plus we know film and speak to the average person as well as the film auteur.

Do you prefer an interactive community for your blog or are you the teacher and your readers the students?
We are interactive. Although we only have a few responses so far we welcome anyone that would like to join our discussions.

How long has this site been active for, and how frequently do you post updates to your site?
We had our first posting January 6, 2012. We try to post at least two articles a week. Sometimes with aid of java we post an article a day, depending on how many films we watch and our attitude toward them.

What is Xs Mark the Spot? The focus is on the unique relationship of Karl and I (Vicki), two ex-spouses overly-involved in film and its meaning to this crazy world. We have kept a friendly partnership alive through the love of storytelling in the medium of film, and the repartee` we have sparks humor and exasperation between us and our audience.
