I know it’s just September, but we need to prepare ourselves for October. Hey, it’s Steve from 1001plus announcing the sixth edition of Foreign Chops. We’re three weeks away from October, which means three weeks away from everyone becoming obsessed with Halloween, that most favorite holiday of horror fans everywhere. To get things in the mood, for the October Foreign Chops we will be looking at scary stuff, specifically scary films from Japan. So that’s the set-up here: entries must be horror (any sub-genre is fine) and from Japan, and we’re good to go. No American remakes of Japanese scares! Here are a few classic titles to get you started. There’s plenty of room for up to FIVE links from every site, so send ‘em in!

To clarify on what is eligible…anything from your site past or present that fits the qualifications listed above is fair game. Old reviews, new reviews, retrospectives…whatever. If it’s about Japanese horror film and your site posted it, send it along!
