LAMBcast #135: Looper

by Dylan · October 10, 2012 · LAMBcast · No Comments

I’m not sure if you’re aware of this or not, but we record the LAMBcast (usually) about a week before it gets posted.  You ought to know where I’m going with this…that’s right – merely by listening, you are traveling back in time.  Back to an era before you had even considered listening to it because you didn’t even know when it was going to be posted!  Meanwhile, back when we recorded it, we had no way of knowing what would happen in the future when you listened to it – hell, the act of you listening to it and commenting on it may have the unintended (or intended) effect of retroactively changing the way that we who participated think about the movie.  This is just…this is just too much.  My head has now exploded 10 days ago.  Anyway, join me, along with Nick, Pat, Joel and Justin as we attempt to wrap our heads around Rian Johnson’s latest.

Also on tap:

* Rants and Raves of the Week
* Last LAMB Standing

A few notes:

* The show can be found, of course, via iTunes – just do a search for “LAMBcast.” Also, I always post a link to the show on the LAMBcast’s Facebook page, and there’s a player there if you’d like to listen online.  The direct RSS feed is: http://lambcast.podomatic.com/rss2.xml

* Shows will eventually make their way to the LAMBcast Archives. If you’d ever like to catch up on back episodes, go there.

* If you’re interested, you too can be a LAMBcaster – we love new blood! For more information on the LAMBcast, check out the topic at the LAMB Forums. Music provided royalty-free by Kevin MacLeod’s Incompetech website. Big thanks to Kevin for providing this service. Opening song by Cake. The LAMBcast loves feedback, too – if you’d like yours read on a future show, leave it in the comments section at the LAMB. Please visit and like our Facebook page, and finally, we’re on iTunes, and would still love a review, even if it’s a bad one.

Thanks for listening!
