We didn’t have a LAMBcast on the schedule for last weekend, but as you may or may not know, Tom Clift made his way from Australia about six weeks ago to North America and has been catching up with LAMBs and other movie bloggers all over this continent ever since. Earlier this week, he made his way to Phoenix to sleep on my couch for a few days, and Argo had been a tentatively scheduled show once upon a time, and we’d both seen it and were up for a show, so I put the word out and two veteran LAMBcasters (Fredo and James) joined us on a Tuesday morning (there’s a first for everything!) to do a little show on Ben Affleck’s latest directorial win (well, for most of us).
Note: due to the circumstances of the show (Tom joining me on my patio), we recorded using my laptop’s external mic, which produced no echo while we taped but one showed up on the file. I think I’ve reduced it to the point where it shouldn’t be bothersome, but if it is for you, my apologies.
Also on tap:
* Rants and Raves of the Week
* Last LAMB Standing
A few notes:
* The show can be found, of course, via iTunes – just do a search for “LAMBcast.” Also, I always post a link to the show on the LAMBcast’s Facebook page, and there’s a player there if you’d like to listen online. The direct RSS feed is: http://lambcast.podomatic.com/rss2.xml
* Shows will eventually make their way to the LAMBcast Archives. If you’d ever like to catch up on back episodes, go there.
* If you’re interested, you too can be a LAMBcaster – we love new blood! For more information on the LAMBcast, check out the topic at the LAMB Forums. Music provided royalty-free by Kevin MacLeod’s Incompetech website. Big thanks to Kevin for providing this service. Opening song by Cake. The LAMBcast loves feedback, too – if you’d like yours read on a future show, leave it in the comments section at the LAMB. Please visit and like our Facebook page, and finally, we’re on iTunes, and would still love a review, even if it’s a bad one.
Thanks for listening!
