You will procure him those votes! Daniel Day Lewis’ Lincoln certainly won the vote, defeating his main challenger Joaquin Phoenix (The Master) by 32 points. As was the case with Best Actress, it’s nice to see a foreign language performance get recognition.

Denzel Washington was the only Oscar nominee to miss out here, netting 56 points for 6th place. The much beloved Matthew McConaughey (Killer Joe) couldn’t keep up either, taking 7th place with his 48 points. Come back tomorrow for a really big award – Best Director!
