What is the main focus of your site? To provide comprehensive reviews and introduce more niche films to readers. I have three main sections:
‘Reviews’, which covers current cinema releases;
‘Iconic Films’, which features more essay-style pieces about classic cinema; and
‘5 of the Best’, which is for readers with a bit less time who just want to scan a list about a specific topic. this section is generally more light-hearted.
What are your blogging goals, personally and/or professionally? In other words, what, if anything, are you trying to get out your blog? To be part of a wider conversation, and to increase my chances of securing a job in the field at a later day.
Do you prefer an interactive community for your blog or are you the teacher and your readers the students? Difficult question! I’m really into having an interactive community, this is currently a big part of my blog. I encourage it through frequent comments, questions and polls. I also like to think that I can teach people about lesser-known films, so a bit of both, really!
How long has this site been active for, and how frequently do you post updates to your site? (Note: sites must be active for at least three months for entry to the LAMB.) Active since December 6th. I have posted 13 items since then, so approximately one post a week. Have been busy lately though, so hoping to bump that up to 3 a week.
Name up to three of your favorite movies (and no more). 2001: A Space Odyssey
Three Colours: Red
Taxi Driver
Name a movie you hate!!  –
How did hear about the LAMB? If it was a LAMB, do you recall which one? Marked Movies mentioned you when I first started; and today, on Twitter, @moviewaffle
