Hey LAMBs. It’s been a while.  You look good. Have you lost weight?

pastureMe? Not much. Just have this new episode of The Film Pasture podcast. What’s it about? I’m glad you asked! In this episode, I speak with Jay from Life vs. Film and Steve from 1001 Plus about their experiences with the 1001 Films to See Before You Die list.  We talk through what’s good, what’s bad and what’s missing from the popular compendium of films.  Then, Todd from Forgotten Films and I have a brief discussion about the passing of Ray Harryhausen, the iconic creature creator.

Just a reminder that you can find The Film Pasture in iTunes or Podomatic. Please leave us a review in iTunes! That helps the show immeasurably and makes Joel a happy guy.  If you are interested in coming on the show, hit me up on Twitter or through email.

For anyone with even the slightest interest in the 1,001 Movies list this is an excellent podcast to listen to. It’s informative without being esoteric. I recommend you give it a try.

Loved this episode, since I’m a follower of the 1001 Movies book. I’ve currently seen about 200 of the movies, so I’m still sort of a rookie, but it’s already a very rewarding task. Thanks to Jay and Steve who gave me a little more insight into the list!
