What is the main focus of your site? #Bond_age_ is my James Bond social media project. Each week I host a live tweet for the next Bond movie in chronological sequence. After the movie I compile the best tweets for the digest and write an essay inspired wholly or partially by the tweetalong.
What are your blogging goals, personally and/or professionally? In other words, what, if anything, are you trying to get out your blog? I conceived the project as a way of watching the James Bond films in order (and in close proximity) to notice trends and subtleties that I might not have noticed otherwise. From that sprang the social media side of the project to get others involved and build a community.
Do you prefer an interactive community for your blog or are you the teacher and your readers the students? #Bond_age_ is an interactive community and I’m around to do the heavy lifting and herd it in the right direction.
How long has this site been active for, and how frequently do you post updates to your site? (Note: sites must be active for at least three months for entry to the LAMB.) The site has been active since the project began in late December. Tho, I brought everything over to this current tumblr page in January. I post updates to the site at least three times per week. This includes schedule updates, adding trailers for the next movie, posting the latest essay.
Name up to three of your favorite movies (and no more). The Empire Strikes Back, Casablanca, Ghostbusters
Name a movie you hate!! Crash (2004)
How did hear about the LAMB? If it was a LAMB, do you recall which one? I heard about it through @fogsmoviereview on Twitter.
Any additional comments, or give yourself an interview question that’s not listed above. (optional) Why is this site worthy? … Because Bond is timeless. There’s no end to the discussion about Bond, about the actors who’ve played him, the ranking of the Bond films. Everyone has different opinions about what makes a true “Bond” film and fans of the series love discussing the nuances of their rankings with respect for differences of opinion. Also, Roger Moore is serves Sheep’s head in OCTOPUSSY, so that’s worth something, no?
