| What is the main focus of your site? | Analysis and insight into film, without the pretension that can go along with that, as well as general discussion and expression of opinions and ideas. A sub-focus is the run-ins some films have had with the censors in Australia. |
| What are your blogging goals, personally and/or professionally? In other words, what, if anything, are you trying to get out your blog? | I started my blog as a place to put up my thoughts on the movies and have a collected space for them to be hosted; I’d like to ultimately see them reach a wider audience, and if it’s possible to develop this into a professional endeavour, I’d follow that up.
In the short term though, my main goal is to continue developing my writing around film and engage readers with new ideas/viewpoints or at the very least be able to critically and fairly assess a wide range of film. |
| Do you prefer an interactive community for your blog or are you the teacher and your readers the students? | I don’t currently have either as a sense of audience. I like the idea of a communal sense where a wide range of people can express ideas. |
| How long has this site been active for, and how frequently do you post updates to your site? (Note: sites must be active for at least three months for entry to the LAMB.) | Since the end of March 2011. I don’t have a set schedule of posting, but I would average 1-3 posts a fortnight. |
