Apologies for the inconvenience but due to a mistake in the entry process the former blog that entered the LAMB as #1611 was already a LAMB . Here is the new #1611.

What is the main focus of your site? To provide a place where readers can check out spoiler-free reviews from the latest films in theater and discover new movies they may have missed.
What are your blogging goals, personally and/or professionally? In other words, what, if anything, are you trying to get out your blog? I’d love to eventually provide reviews to other websites or be a full-time critic for an online publication. It’s also fun to introduce people to movies they’ve never heard of.
Do you prefer an interactive community for your blog or are you the teacher and your readers the students? The best teachers can also learn from their students so I love to hear what other people are thinking. I try to respond to every comment on my blog be it negative or positive. That’s the beauty of critique of any art form — people see things differently and I’m most interested in hearing WHY someone likes/dislikes a film they’ve seen.
How long has this site been active for, and how frequently do you post updates to your site? (Note: sites must be active for at least three months for entry to the LAMB.) Website started up on 1/1/2012 — 18 monts, 690 posts later here we are 🙂
Name up to three of your favorite movies (and no more). Jaws
The Shawshank Redemption
Chinatown
Name a movie you hate!! This is 40 (recent) Nacho Libre (overall)
How did hear about the LAMB? If it was a LAMB, do you recall which one? Twitter! Lots of LAMB hashtags on movie info…so I had to investigate.
Any additional comments, or give yourself an interview question that’s not listed above. (optional) YOU: What are your reviews like?
ME: I’ll tell you what they aren’t. I’m not going to write the entire plot synopsis out for you and then give my opinion in the last paragraph. I think my readers will be able to figure some of that stuff out on their own and I want to get to what you came here for! I’m going to start each review with a quick blast of information…the kind of information I like to see in reviews: Short outline, Stars, Director, Running Time. After that, we’ll get to the meat of the review. Sometimes the reviews will be long and sometimes they’ll be short. It all depends on my take on the film and what I want to say.
