LAMBCAST #225 PLANET OF THE APES

by Jay Cluitt · July 4, 2014 · LAMBcast, Podcasts · No Comments

It’s time for another franchise look-back, and it’s one that I’ve been particularly looking forward to, because I hadn’t seen any of the original movies. This time we got our hands on some damn dirty apes, for the Planet of the Apes franchise.

Apes

Host Jay Cluitt was joined by the shepherd, Joel Burman, Todd Liebenow and newcomer Sam Thorne to discuss the original five movies, as well as the Tim Burton remake, TV series, and anything else ape-related they could think of. Who knew there were so many parallels between the Ape franchise and German expressionism?

Also on tap were the Rants and Raves of the week, and a couple of rounds of Last Lamb Standing.

The show can be found, of course, via iTunes – just do a search for “LAMBcast.” Also, I always post a link to the show on the LAMBcast’s Facebook page, and there’s a player there if you’d like to listen online.
