Cor blimey guv’nor, the Lambs only went and bleedin’ well met up in Lahndahn, dinnae? Can’t believe me mince pies ‘n’ King Lears.
Ahem. The third annual LAMB meet-up has occurred! Hurrah! This time it was held in England, providing a much more international flavour than the previous two American-centric affairs. Much delicious food was eaten, alcohol was drunk and movies were both watched and discussed, at length, predominantly Macbeth, which we all went to see. We recorded a few segments to give you an idea of the events and frivolities that went down, so please enjoy them. Also, here are some photos:
LtR: Elwood Jones (From the Depths of DVD Hell, The Mad, Bad and Downright Strange Showcase), Rob Kyte (FTS), Jason Truluck (Coffee Break Travel), Tony Cogan (Coog’s Film Blog), Jess Manzo (FTS), Me!, Mette Kowalski (FTS, Across the Universe) & Rebecca Sharp (Almost Ginger). LtR: David Brook (Blueprint: Review), Will Slater (Exploding Helicopter), Joel Burman (Deny Everything, The LAMB), Me!, Rebecca Sharp (Almost Ginger), Tony Cogan (Coog’s Film Blog), Mette Kowalksi (FTS, Across the Universe), Jason Truluck (Coffee Break Travel), Lindsay Street (FTS, Coffee Break Travel), Jess Manzo (FTS), Rob Kyte (FTS), Simon & Sarah Column (Flickering Myth, Movie Mezzanine and many others). We’re planning on making the UK meet-ups a semi-regular occurrence, so if you weren’t able to attend this time around but want to next time, get in touch.
The show can be found, of course, via iTunes – just do a search for “LAMBcast.” Also, I always post a link to the show on the LAMBcast’s Facebook page, and there’s a player there if you’d like to listen online. The direct RSS feed is: http://lambcast.podomatic.com/entry/2015-10-09T01_23_39-07_00. Shows will eventually make their way to the LAMBcast Archives. If you’d ever like to catch up on back episodes, go there. If you’re interested, you too can be a LAMBcaster – we love new blood! For more information on the LAMBcast, check out the topic at the LAMB Forums. Music provided royalty-free by Kevin MacLeod’s Incompetech website. Big thanks to Kevin for providing this service. Opening song by Cake. The LAMBcast loves feedback, too – if you’d like yours read on a future show, leave it in the comments section at the LAMB. Please visit and like our Facebook page, and finally, we’re on iTunes, and would still love a review, even if it’s a bad one. Thanks for listening!
