What is the main focus of your site? To offer a blend of personal opinions and critical analysis on potential themes on recent releases, typically in a stream-of-consciousness style riddled with references and an oddball sense of humour. I also list every reviewed film against the rest of the year’s releases. If I watch any film released in 2012 or later, it gets reviewed without question.
What are your blogging goals, personally and/or professionally? In other words, what, if anything, are you trying to get out your blog? To offer a semi-informed opinion for the reader and, hopefully, persuade them one way or another on a particular movie. I also hope that, through these reviews, I can better hone my writing skills over time and hopefully make it as a professional or even semi-professional film critic.
Do you prefer an interactive community for your blog or are you the teacher and your readers the students? An interactive community, most definitely. Discussion about movie is what keeps things interesting; it’s no fun if I’m just dictating opinions to people without feedback.
How long has this site been active for, and how frequently do you post updates to your site? (Note: sites must be active for at least three months for entry to the LAMB.) My blog has been active since October 2014, and I try to update it at least four times a week with new reviews.
Name up to three of your favorite movies (and no more). Planet Terror
The Breakfast Club
Dogma
Name a movie you hate!! Vacation (2015)
How did hear about the LAMB? If it was a LAMB, do you recall which one? Dan The Man, one of your members, commented on a few of my reviews. I looked at a few of his and found the link to the LAMB on his sidebar.
