What is the main focus of your site? The main focus of Back to the Viewer is to provide a platform to communicate with fellow cinephiles and share my thoughts. Reviewing contemporary and classics, shorts and features. I also write Articles that act as opinion pieces on the film industry as a whole. My interests vary and am an active member in the film blogging community.
What are your blogging goals, personally and/or professionally? In other words, what, if anything, are you trying to get out your blog? My blog started as a way for me to share my thoughts and treat it as a personal project. Something to curate and put on my CV. In recent times my passion for film and in particular writing about film has extended to a desire to one day become a film critic for a major press outlet in the UK. But ultimately, I enjoy blogging as a hobby and wish to continue doing so at Back to the Viewer.
Do you prefer an interactive community for your blog or are you the teacher and your readers the students? I much prefer an interactive community. Sharing thoughts and opinions on a film, character, director, or industry news including trailers wouldn’t be the same if I felt like I was preaching to my followers. I encourage comments and engagement and ensure that when I get a comment I return the favour and keep up to date with my followers activity as well.
How long has this site been active for, and how frequently do you post updates to your site? (Note: sites must be active for at least three months for entry to the LAMB.) Back to the Viewer has been active since August 2014. If I focus all my attention on my blog I can post up to 4 times a week, however, as I am currently in between jobs and job hunting I struggle to get more than two posts up each week. Nevertheless I aim to stay active for the foreseeable future and joining LAMB is a great opportunity for me to pin down a regular writing schedule.

How did hear about the LAMB? If it was a LAMB, do you recall which one? I often stumble across LAMB on a number of different blogs and have been meaning to apply for membership for a while now. The most recent was at French Toast Sunday when they promoted the LAMB meet-up in London.
Other question Meeting fellow film bloggers in a social enironment is really appealing to me and so the London LAMB meet-up is my real inspiration behind applying for LAMB membership. I think it would be great to put some faces to names and meet new people who share this passion for writing.
