Women being thrown into dumpsters. Purification via Lake Minnetonka. A puppet in a cup. Yep, this month we’re talking about Purple Rain.

Movie champion Nicole Ayers celebrated her first Movie of the Month win by discussing this concert movie/biography/who the heck knows alongside Jay Cluitt, Mario Brown, Jeanette Ward and Nolahn. Between them they cover all aspects of the film from the soundtrack, the costumes and whatever it is Prince thinks is kissing.

After the movie discussion there are the usual Rants and Raves of the Week – including a revelatory exclusive from one of the guests – and a couple of games of Last Lamb Standing.
