Lambcast #343 Carry On Screaming MOTM

by Jay Cluitt · October 13, 2016 · Featured, LAMBcast, MOTM, MOTM Champions, Podcasts · 1 Comment

It’s October, so once again the Lambcast is devoting most of the month to horror, starting out with another horror-themed Movie of the Month and, as is tradition, it went in a completely unexpected direction as this week we’re talking about the 1966 British “classic” Carry On Screaming.

Joining Jay Cluitt is Carry On… superfan Rebecca Sharp and bemused newbie Kristen Lopez to discuss the franchise in general, the science behind growing monsters from fingers and how Carry On Screaming is comparable to Psycho.

Also on tap: Rants and Raves of the Week and a couple of games of Last Lamb Standing.

Normally this is where you’d find a list of reviews submitted by LAMB members for the film but, given the obscure and hard-to-find nature of this one, there’s not a great deal of surprise to see no reviews this month.

Show notes:
Kristen’s review of Sully
Kristen’s review of The Birth Of A Nation
Kristen’s appearance on The Mad, Bad and Downright Strange Showcase discussing Pre-Code Movies
Rebecca’s list of Movies That Haven’t Aged Well
Jay’s thoughts on the new 1001 Movies You Must See Before You Die edition

It’s also time to vote for the next movie of the month:
