Lambscores: Deadpool 2, Book Club, Show Dogs

We’ve got a mixed bag for you this week. Deadpool 2 peaked it’s head (or a different body part, it’s probably best not to ask) out of the schedule gap between Infinity War and Solo, and was joined by a couple of smaller releases too, one of which is easily the worst reviewed film we’ve seen on here for a long time. It’s almost impressive to obtain a review below 1.0, but Show Dogs has earned that blue ribbon. Here’s what the LAMB community has to say about it, as well as Deadpool 2 and Book Club:

LAMBscores will return next week with: Solo: A Star Wars Story
If you want to get involved, here’s how LAMBScores work: Over in the LAMB Forums there’s a sub-board called LAMBScores. If you’ve written a review or recorded a podcast on a new release, find (or create) the thread there, and leave a link to your review, along with your site name and a score out of 5. Three weeks after the film has received a wide release the reviews will be collated and posted here, as long as there are at least five.

  1. Some people may think it’s easy to do what we do. Show Dogs proves them wrong.

On behalf of the entire LAMB community, I’d like to thank your for your service, and for the sacrifices you make to greater benefit the world of movie criticism. Future generations will speak of your noble quest with reverence, and your acts of selflessness will be celebrated through songs passed down from generation to generation. Never shall this day be forgotten.
