The Movie of the Month for December 2018 is…

The latest Movie of the Month has been decided upon!

For December’s MOTM poll we once again took a festive-themed diversion into primarily Christmas films, with a Hanukkah one thrown in for good measure this year too, and as with previous winners (Die Hard, Die Hard 2, Gremlins, Batman Returns), the winner isn’t a film that everybody might consider a holiday film, but which I’m sure we’ll debate the case for on the show. The apparently festive film we’ll be discussing this December is… Meet Me in St. Louis!

Congratulations go to first time winner Amanda from Hollywood Consumer, who successfully championed Meet Me in St Louis to victory, and as such gets to host the upcoming Lambcast show dedicated to it. If you have any reviews, features or podcasts on Meet Me in St Louis, please send a link to Jay (thelambcast(at)gmail.com) by December 3rd, and they will be linked to on the LAMB site along with the podcast episode.

Here are the results of this month’s poll:

Hollywood Consumer will be ineligible to champion a MOTM contender for the next three months. Moustache Movie News still has two months of ineligibility left. Rantings and Ravings will be ineligible for one more month. That Moment In is now eligible again.

If you would like to submit a film for January’s Movie of the Month, get in touch!
