What is the main focus of your site?

To write about and celebrate classic film from the silent era through to the 1960s. Occasionally films beyond that period are examined as well.

What are your blogging goals, personally and/or professionally? In other words, what, if anything, are you trying to get out your blog?

To learn about the films I have always loved and learn from others about classic film. It gives me a sense of achievement and enjoyment in writing – as well as reading the work of others.

Do you prefer an interactive community for your blog or are you the teacher and your readers the students?

More of an interactive community – where I can share my ideas but am interested in the feedback of others from whom I can get new insights and different perspectives. Naturally, I hope that others can learn from me as well!

How long has this site been active for, and how frequently do you post updates to your site? (Note: sites must be active for at least three months for entry to the LAMB.)

2 years with an average of 2 major posts a month.

Name up to three of your favorite movies (and no more).

Double Indemnity
Vertigo
The Grapes Of Wrath

Name a movie you hate.

Titanic

How did hear about the LAMB? If it was a LAMB, do you recall which one?

Through other film bloggers.

Is there an article on your site you are particularly proud of that you would like the LAMB to promote?

My article ‘Fatalism And Futility In Film Noir’
