The latest Movie of the Month has been decided upon! It seems many of the LAMB flock think that the Movie of the Month poll is a place to showcase films that have a terrible reputation, and it’s an opportunity to make Jay and Richard watch something awful, hence why the likes of D.C. Cab, Battlefield Earth and Jury Duty were all submitted in this month’s poll. Fortunately none of them won, but the winner still isn’t a film that we’re overall looking forward to seeing, mainly because Richard already didn’t like it and Jay had no interest in ever seeing it. Regardless, watch it we will, and the film we’ll be reluctantly viewing is… Hereditary!
Congratulations to Sean Homrig from the 1001 Movies Podcast for successfully championing Hereditary to victory. As such he gets to host the upcoming Lambcast dedicated to it, and if you have any reviews, features or podcasts on Hereditary send them to Jay by Monday 6th May.
Winners are excluded for a calendar year, as such Almost Ginger, Kirkham A Movie A Day, Hollywood Consumer, That Moment In and The 1001 Movies Podcast are ineligible for the rest of 2019.
If you would like to submit a film for June’s female-directed special Movie of the Month, get in touch soon!
