Lambcast #556 James Bond Component Draft

by Richard Kirkham · November 4, 2020 · Draft, Franchise, LAMBcast, Poll · No Comments

Double sadness on the Lamb this week. The original cinematic James Bond, Sean Connery has passed away and “No Time to Die” is not opening as it should. In order to combat the blues created by these twin misfortunes, we present a light-hearted discussion of all things James Bond.

Jay and Richard were joined by fellow Bond enthusiasts Jeanette Ward, Mark Hofmeyer, MovieRob and David Brook, to participate in an elaborate fantasy draft of elements from 007 films. We then took those components and tried to craft a movie story around them, resulting in titles that you will want to see in theaters next summer.

We skip the Rants, Raves and reviews and the game because the draft involved 15 components for each participant. It’s not well organized but it is fun to listen to. So pour yourself a vodka martini, shaken of course, put on your headphones [no Beatles so no earmuffs required] and take in another episode of us fetishizing this long running movie series.  Then vote for the team of Components you thought was best:

The show can be found, of course, via iTunes – just do a search for “LAMBcast.” Also, I always post a link to the show on the LAMBcast’s Facebook page, and there’s a player there if you’d like to listen online. Find the show here:
