What is the main focus of your site?
Reviews of newly released films.
What are your blogging goals, personally and/or professionally? In other words, what, if anything, are you trying to get out your blog?
To give myself a consistent outlet to develop my writing, critical voice, and generally get my opinions on films out into the world. I would like to pursue film writing professionally, so a blog was a great way to get writing in the first place.
Do you prefer an interactive community for your blog or are you the teacher and your readers the students?
Both! I’m not sure I’d describe myself as a teacher – sounds a bit self-important – but I definitely want my blog to be enjoyable to read for people who don’t necessarily know anything about the film being reviewed, or cinema in general.
How long has this site been active for, and how frequently do you post updates to your site? (Note: sites must be active for at least three months for entry to the LAMB.)
It has been active since October 2018, with posts being published on a weekly basis (on average).
