What is the main focus of your site?

Why This Film Podcast looks back at the movies of your childhood.
Each week I’m joined by a new guest as we look back at the movies you loved as a kid.
I also review childhood films for BBC Radio on Wednesdays.

What are your blogging goals, personally and/or professionally? In other words, what, if anything, are you trying to get out your blog?

As a freelancer I hope to eventually be able to financially rely on my podcast and reviews. I’d also like to move into video essays, and am currently writing a film script.

Do you prefer an interactive community for your blog or are you the teacher and your readers the students?

Very much interactive. It’s all about community – I want to hear from everyone about their personal relationships and opinions of the movies I talk about.

How long has this site been active for, and how frequently do you post updates to your site? (Note: sites must be active for at least three months for entry to the LAMB.)

I’ve been running my podcast since 2017. Took a short break and resurrected it summer 2019. I put out episodes every Tuesday.

Name up to three of your favorite movies (and no more).

Dragonheart
Kill Bill Vol. 1
La Belle et la Bête

Name a movie you hate.

He’s Just Not That Into You

How did hear about the LAMB? If it was a LAMB, do you recall which one?

Elwood Jones recommended it to me.

Is there an article on your site you are particularly proud of that you would like the LAMB to promote?

Every season finale I do a live drinking game to a film, one season ended on Christmas with The Muppet Christmas Carol – it’s an episode I’m very proud of.

Bonus facts:

I have a Blue Peter badge.
My favourite horror sub-genre is folk horror.
