This week we all had to do something that has been difficult for a while, we went to a theater to see the featured film. “A Quiet Place Part II was not streaming on any service, you could not rent it on-line, if you wanted to see it, you had to go to the movies.
John Krasinski is again behind the camera and he appears in the tense prologue to the film, and our Lambs this week had things to say about that. Cameron Kanachki, Amanda Kirkham, Lisa LeaHeey, Rishabh Vashishtha and Joe Peltzer join the show this week to both complain about and praise sequels. WE all like horror tropes when they earn our trust and dislike when they are thrust upon us. So how did Krasinski and his team do?
Emily Blunt, Millicent Simmonds, and Noah Jupe are back, and this time they are joined by Cillian Murphy. The story picks up where it left off, and after having been delayed for over a year, it seems that audiences are ready to get back to movie theaters and be thrilled again. There was a range of opinions on this film, both as a sequel and as a horror film.
We also had time for the usual Rants, Raves and Reviews plus, we managed to get in a game to finish it all off.
